Editorial approval with one click Do you need the approval of a colleague, supervisor, or customer to send mailings? If so, you will work even more efficiently from now on, thanks to the new editorial approval feature. You can map your individual approval workflow with Inxmail Professional 3.8. This process is very simple. As editor, you create your mailing in Inxmail Professional as before. You then select an approver and send him/her the request for approval. By entering a deadline, the approver will be able to see at a glance when his/her approval is necessary. There is also a comments feature that provides further tips.
All information, including the mailing, is consolidated on a separate target page that is also accessible without Inxmail Professional. Your colleague, supervisor, or customer can approve or deny the mailing on this page with one click. The comments feature allows the approver to list reasons for his/her decision. The entire process is recorded, including comments, to be able to keep the big picture in mind. Of course, you can also continue to send your mailings without approval.

The anti-spam test is based on the internationally established spam filter SpamAssassin. This filter uses known spam characteristics to evaluate every email in the recipients’ inbox. It then moves the relevant email automatically to the spam folder or even to the recycle bin. If your mailing is classified here as spam, it’s too late. You do not reach the intended recipient. With Inxmail Professional, you already have this knowledge before sending any mailings. With just one click, you can find out what you need to do for the recipient to get your newsletter. Selecting recipient data This feature has two aims: Firstly, we want to make it clear which status (subscribed, unsubscribed, hard bounces) your recipient addresses have. We also want to prevent unsubscribed people from being imported into your mailing lists again. Therefore you will immediately be able to see two tabs in the table of recipients. The recipients are separated into "subscribed recipients" and "unsubscribed recipients".
Selection of one or more target groups This features aims to make it easier for you to reach several existing target groups with one article, file attachment or mailing. From now on, you do not need to manually enter a target group condition to combine several target groups. The "Enter condition" dialogue box has been expanded by the “Condition for target group” component. Here, you can select several existing target groups that are to be combined.
