"Geberit Useletter" provides information with user value
Companies have a lot to report. But information with user value is scarce. Geberit is now closing this gap and since September 2006 has been providing information with a target-group-specific e-mail newsletter.
"Geberit Useletter" is the name of the new service with which the sanitary engineering manufacturer will provide information in future to interested fabricators, planners, architects, dealers, representatives of the housing industry and end-consumers on new developments, tips, trends, new products and events. The special future: each target group receives only those news points which are really of interest to them.
Compact, clear and individual We aimed at the best possible benefit to our customers and partners and consciously named our e-mail newsletter ‘Useletter’, emphasises Thomas Brückle, Marketing Manager at Geberit.
For Brückle, the newsletter is another element with which Geberit can intensify networked communication with customers and partners and further develop online presence. “Our know-how is knowledge that we not only have but also use and are pleased to share. In daily work, for solutions which achieve something.” Specially tailored to the requirements and needs of the individual user, the ‘Useletter’ provides fast, up-to-date information by e-mail.
”Geberit has a wide range of subjects”, says Brückle. Not only products and technical aspects should be discussed but also subjects relating to marketing, sales, further training or development. Important information on events round off the service.
With the easy to use newsletter design template in the Inxmail system, the editors of Geberit are able to produce the newsletter themselves simply and without any programming knowledge. Every single article can be allocated to one or more target groups – simply at the click of a mouse. The mailing is sent automatically in Multipart format based on the HTML and text version previously tested in all relevant mail clients. This ensures consistently high quality of the design and display of the newsletter.
”The new mailing reports in Inxmail 3.5 provide detailed, clear analyses after every newsletter mailing. We can therefore react to the behaviour of the subscribers and quickly and easily optimise our Useletter”, emphasises Thomas Mayer, Project Manager Internet/E-Commerce at Geberit.
Geberit integrates the new e-mail marketing concept in the complete marketing mix in order to obtain new subscribers in different ways. Reference is made to the Geberit Useletter, for example, on feedback forms at seminars and events and permission to send it is obtained. The field service specifically mentions the new Useletter to customers and partners and the website naturally provides a simple and convenient way of subscribing.
Geberit is the European market leader in sanitary engineering. Since it was founded in 1874 in Rapperswil, Switzerland, the company has been one of the pioneers in the industry and is a frequent trend-setter with its comprehensive system solutions. Geberit has been represented in Germany for 50 years with an unrivalled success story in the sanitary sector.
